Considered an Intangible Cultural Asset of Japan, Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu Kenjitsu is a traditional and comprehensive school of Bujutsu (martial arts), emphasizing the importance of developing a strong martial spirit and a healthy body. Odate Sensei is a US representative for Katori Shinto-Ryu. He is a martial artist, actor, and producer, known for his appearances in
“The Last Samurai,” “Dragonball Evolution,” “Letters from Iwo Jima” and “Falcon Rising.”
