Equipment Needed for Systema
No special equipment is required to start with. Practitioners usually wear exercise
clothing or fatigues. Shoes can be worn for outside practice, though we ask that
they not be inside the precincts of Redlands Aikikai to respect the Eastern customs
of the other martial arts. However, socks or wrestling shoes specifically for inside
use are fine.
