Internal Aikido
This seminar will allow us to explore what it is to be completely present in a martial encounter. According to Hisao Kamada Sensei, one of O Sensei's pre-war students,* "Ueshiba Sensei always said, 'You have to enter the inside of your training partner; get to his inside and then take him into your inside!' " This seminar is intended to be a step towards realizing this.
Exercises will include empty-hand as well as wooden sword and staff. Budoka of all affiliations are welcome to attend.
